Reporting to the Regional Director, the Property Manager oversees the operations of an assigned residential portfolio in the GTA, Ontario.ResponsibilitiesSupervising and providing direction to Residential Managers, maintenance, and administrative staffContributing in the development of annual operational budget and subsequent management of sameAssisting with Contractor managementAssisting with Property Maintenance & Administrative ManagementAssisting with Client Management and reportingAttendance at various meetings during and after regular business hours (i.E. client, property manager meetings, tenant meetings)Monitor the completion of maintenance work ordersRent Collection, Arrears ManagementLease Administration and Tenant LiaisonAssisting in preparation of documents for LTB hearings, Eviction, etcConducting in suite, vacant unit and regular building and grounds inspectionsRespond to after business hours & weekend emergency callsEnsuring that buildings are Code compliant at all timesEnsuring that all City Orders,



Fire Department Notices are dealt with within the time allottedOther assignments within the parameter of the scope of the Property Manager positionRequirementsExperience in residential property management including knowledge of property administrative, maintenance and customer service practicesKnowledge of various legislations, codes & regulations as it relates to residential building property managementGood knowledge and understanding of building systems (HVAC, Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical)Knowledge and experience with the LTBStrong customer service orientation and deliverySkilled in organizing and supervising multiple simultaneous service requestsGood written and oral communicationExperience utilizing Yardi or similar financial softwareStrong computer skills – MS Word, Excel, OutlookContract Management and Trade SupervisionGood analytical and problem solving skillsGood supervisory skillsAbility to meet deadlinesSalarySalary range: $75,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience.
