About Us

MNT Dental Laboratories is a growing dental laboratory in Scarborough, Ontario. We are looking for a Dental Plaster/Model Technician to join our team.

We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, reliable, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality dental models.

Responsibilities

- Pour dental impressions using dental stone and gypsum products.
- Produce accurate working models, opposing models, and diagnostic casts.
- Trim and finish dental models to laboratory standards.
- Prepare removable and sectioned dies.
- Mount and articulate models using various articulator systems.
- Prepare models for crown and bridge, implant, and removable cases.
- Inspect impressions and models for accuracy and quality.
- Follow laboratory prescriptions and case instructions.
- Operate model trimmers, vacuum mixers, and other laboratory equipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Follow laboratory infection-control and safety procedures.




- Work efficiently with other departments to maintain smooth case flow.
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

- Previous dental laboratory experience is preferred.
- Experience with dental model/plaster work is an asset.
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and basic dental laboratory procedures.
- Experience with dental stone, gypsum products, impression materials, and articulators.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand skills.
- Ability to produce accurate and well-finished models.
- Ability to read and follow dental laboratory prescriptions.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused.

Pay: $19.21-$30.00 per hour
