Job Overview

Reporting to the President & CEO, the Director of Operations supports TRAC's technical, data, member, stakeholder, and public-policy activities. The role combines tire-industry knowledge, quantitative analysis, project leadership, relationship management, and support for complex industry and governmental matters.

Responsibilities

- Manage the collection, aggregation, analysis, forecasting, and reporting of tire-industry data for members and external stakeholders.

- Lead or facilitate member discussions on industry statistics, market trends, forecasts, and related intelligence.

- Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned member programs, technical initiatives, and operational projects.

- Develop and maintain effective relationships with member companies, industry organizations, government partners and other stakeholders.

- Support TRAC participation in tire-related technical standards work, including relevant ISO technical committee activities.

- Work with TRAC staff on stakeholder engagement, public affairs, and communications initiatives connected to organizational priorities.

- Support the management and resolution of complex or escalated industry issues and provide strategic advice to the President & CEO.

- Assist with the coordination and delivery of TRAC meetings, communications, events, and member activities.





- Represent TRAC externally, including as an occasional spokesperson, when authorized by the President & CEO

- Perform related operational, technical, and stakeholder-management duties consistent with the position.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, technology or related discipline.

- Approximately 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in the tire industry or automotive sector, including meaningful data-analysis experience.

- Demonstrated experience leading technical or operational initiatives and working with diverse industry stakeholders.

- Experience communicating with senior leadership and developing explicit communications for internal and external audiences.

- Strong analytical, mathematical, writing, presentation and business skills.

- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Experience in tire or rubber manufacturing including tire nomenclature, distribution, tire and wheel dynamics, tire engineering or related technical standards an asset.

Pay: $95,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
