Job Title: Senior Data Scientist Location: Toronto, ON Work Arrangement: Hybrid Employment Type: Full-Time FTE Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to support the AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) across Machine Learning and Data Science initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in applied machine learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, experimentation, and data-driven problem solving.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business problems into practical data science solutions and delivering end-to-end machine learning and analytics solutions from data exploration through model development, validation, interpretation, and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities Develop, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for regression, classification, forecasting, and other predictive use cases.

Translate complex business problems into data science solutions and analytical approaches.

Perform data exploration, data preparation, feature engineering, model development, validation, and model interpretation.

Apply statistical modeling and analytical techniques to generate actionable business insights.

Design and analyze experiments, including A/B testing and experimentation frameworks.

Evaluate model performance using appropriate statistical and machine learning metrics.

Develop predictive models and analytical solutions for use cases such as churn prediction, personalization, recommendation systems, marketing optimization, anomaly detection, and customer/member analytics.

Work closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise AI and analytics solutions.

Communicate analytical findings, model results, trends,



and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Support the transition of data science models and solutions toward production readiness.

Contribute to the development and adoption of machine learning and data science best practices across the AI CoE.

Required Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Python for data science and machine learning.

Expert-level SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and validation.

Strong experience with Machine Learning and Predictive Modeling .

Hands-on experience with: Regression Classification Forecasting Feature Engineering Model Evaluation and Validation Statistical Modeling Experimentation and A/B Testing Predictive Analytics Data Exploration and Analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms .

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills Experience working in cloud-based data science environments.

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure / Azure ML .

Experience with Databricks and MLflow .

Exposure to enterprise machine learning platforms and cloud technologies.

Experience developing solutions for: Churn Prediction Recommendation Systems Personalization Marketing Optimization Anomaly Detection Experimentation Frameworks Qualifications Strong experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistical Modeling, Predictive Analytics, or a related field.

Proven experience delivering end-to-end data science solutions in an enterprise setting.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts and model outputs to non-technical stakeholders.
