You will be a member of the team responsible for the snowmaking and the safe building and maintenance of our world-class snow venues at Canada Olympic Park.As a Snowmaking Plant Operator & Trail Crew Team Member, you strive to approach your work to align with our 6 values which are at the core ofwho we are and what we do at WinSport.SafetyIntegrityBelongingInspirationSustainabilityWhat you will be doing:Fall snowmaking setup including transferring guns and hose onto the different snow venuesSet up and take down of all snowmaking equipment during the snowmaking portion of the seasonSafe operation of snowmobiles on the ski hillMaintain snow venues for day to day operations.Rake and dye takeoffs and landings in the terrain parkDye HalfpipeSetup fence, ribbon line and B netWork with the snowcat drivers to install, rebuild or modify terrain park features for public use and competition ski hill specificationSetup and repair safety equipment on the winter snow venues and terrain park featuresCompetition/Event setup and takedown on all snow venuesOperate and monitor snowmaking pumps in plant to ensure proper snowmaking pressures.Ensure proper levels and injection rates of Snomax product to achieve optimal snow quality and minimize waste. Must be able to wear a N95 respirator when handling Snomax and perform a fit-test.Maintain communication with snowmakers to adjust for changing weather conditions.Maintain accurate logs of weather and snowmaking equipment pressures, temperatures, etc.Follow operational and safety procedures while working in plant alone.Perform various duties around plant including cleaning, painting, organizing,
