VTRAC is seeking a knowledgeable Legal Compliance Advisor to join on a contract basis. Your mission: to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and internal policies within Ontario and Canada.As a mid-senior level advisor, your role will involve monitoring compliance risks and regulatory developments. You will develop and implement compliance frameworks as well as conduct thorough internal audits. Your excellent analytical skills and communication abilities will aid in delivering transparent guidance and training on compliance matters to staff.Key Responsibilities:Monitor relevant legislation and industry standardsDevelop and implement internal compliance proceduresConduct audits to identify compliance risksProvide legal advice on regulatory mattersReport to regulatory bodies and manage licensingRequirements:LL.B. or J.D. from a recognized Canadian law school3–5 years experience in legal complianceUnderstanding of privacy and financial regulationsStrong analytical and communication skillsExperience in regulated industries preferredContribute to a culture of compliance and ethics at VTRAC.
