Our technicians work directly on the plant floor, troubleshooting and maintaining systems where uptime is critical.Position OverviewThe Automation Technician supports automated equipment in active production environments across multiple facilities. This is a hands-on role involving troubleshooting, repairs, and improvement of robotic, electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems.While there are opportunities to work with robots and controls, this is not a programming-only position. Success in this role starts with strong equipment troubleshooting, reliability, and a willingness to support the full scope of plant automation.What You'll Be DoingRespond to equipment issues and restore production in a timely mannerTroubleshoot automated systems including robotic weld cells, stamping lines, and standalone equipmentPerform hands-on mechanical and electrical work (sensors, wiring, tooling, components)Use PLC and robot interfaces to diagnose faults and support recovery when requiredComplete preventative maintenance on automation equipment and related hardwareSupport equipment improvements, upgrades, and ongoing reliability effortsWork with maintenance, trades,
