Become an Environmental/Regulatory Advisor for ExxonMobil in Edmonton, Alberta. This in office role centers on environmental management and compliance in expanding energy operations.

ExxonMobil is looking for an Intermediate Environmental/Regulatory Advisor to aid the Strathcona Refinery's environmental compliance efforts. You will work closely with the environmental team and oversee interactions with Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (AEPA) and Alberta Energy Regulator (AER). The primary focus will be on ensuring proper regulatory compliance amid evolving environmental legislation and supporting the site’s upcoming Regulatory Compliance Assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide ongoing regulatory compliance support
• Handle Regulatory Compliance Assessment (RCA) duties




• Update site management systems following new regulations
• Develop new environmental management guidelines
• Assist with environmental performance reporting

Requirements:
• Environmental Science degree or related field
• 5 to 10 years' experience in a regulatory role
• Expertise with AEPA and AER compliance
• Driver’s license valid for operational areas
• Pass necessary drug and alcohol testing
