Description Title: Sealer/Prepper Department: Paint Reports To: Production Supervisor Overview The primary role of the Sealer/Prepper is to prepare equipment for painting through sealing, masking,sandingand other applications.

Roles & Responsibilities Operate sealing equipment or use filler to fill holes, dents,and seams.

File, grind,and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools.

Mask and tape surfaces in preparation for painting.

Mix, blend,and matchpaintcolors.

Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns.

Monitorpartsusage and report on any materials issues.

Assistin ordering replacement equipment,partsand supplies.

Perform in a team workplace with minimal supervision.

Performs all dutiesin accordance with

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations, and Code.

Other duties asassigned.

Knowledge, Skills,



& Abilities Completion of college/vocational or technical training in a related field is an asset.

Previousexperience working with sheet metal is an asset.

Previousautobody prep experience is an asset.

Ability to work independently.

Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing The ability to read and interpret blueprints is an asset.

Must have the physical ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 35 lbs.

Mustbe able to distinguishcolours.

Working Conditions Commercial/Industrial environment.

Manual dexterityrequiredtousenecessary tools.

Exercise caution, as the environment presents many naturally occurring hazards.

Always adhere to safety policies (wear protective equipment).

Long periodsof standing.

Overtime asrequired.
