Reporting to the Chief Officer, you'll assist in maintaining safety and efficiency by directing traffic and performing maintenance tasks. This position emphasizes hands-on work, including monitoring passenger compliance and managing safety protocols, all within a supportive team atmosphere at BC Ferries.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee traffic on the vessel and shore
• Ensure propane tanks are safe and secured
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties on the vessel
• Patrolling the vessel for safety hazards
• Participate in emergency response and drills

Requirements:
• Completion of Marine Emergency duties training
• Valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate
• Physical ability to handle lifting and climbing
• Higher Bridge Watch rating is preferred
• Commitment to safe work practices in seamanship
