Duties

- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yield
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on tools, irrigation systems, and farm machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Use hand tools for tasks like pruning, planting, weeding, and soil preparation
- Support irrigation activities by setting up, monitoring, and repairing watering systems to ensure proper crop hydration
- Conduct general farm upkeep including fencing repairs, debris removal, and equipment cleaning




- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or harvested produce to facilitate smooth workflow during busy seasons

Qualifications

- No experience necessary, willing to train
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with farm machinery and power tools is highly desirable
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and follow safety protocols at all times
- Basic math skills for measuring inputs like fertilizer or adjusting irrigation settings
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of horticulture principles or a willingness to learn about plant care and crop management
- Familiarity with irrigation systems or interest in developing skills in this area is a plus
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

Pay: $17.95 per hour
