Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Farm Worker to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this role, you will be actively involved in maintaining the daily operations of the farm, supporting crop production, and ensuring the smooth functioning of farm machinery and irrigation systems. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute directly to the health of our crops and the overall productivity of the farm.

Responsibilities

- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yield
- Operate farm machinery such as tractors, tillers, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on tools, equipment, irrigation systems, and farm infrastructure to ensure optimal operation
- Use hand tools for planting, pruning, weeding, and other crop care activities
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields, adjusting as needed for weather conditions
- Lift heavy loads safely during material handling tasks such as moving soil, plants, or harvested produce




- Support general farm upkeep including fencing repairs, soil preparation, and debris removal

Skills

- No skills or experience necessary - willing to train
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on farm machinery and equipment
- Experience with irrigation systems and understanding of horticultural practices
- Ability to operate heavy equipment and power tools with safety awareness
- Strong maintenance skills for tools, machinery, and farm structures
- Basic math skills for measuring inputs like fertilizer or adjusting equipment settings
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy crop growth

Pay: $17.95 per hour
