Work with Caledon Animal Shelter as an Assistant to the Animal Services team, dedicated to animal well-being and facility maintenance. This role offers dynamic daily tasks.

You will report directly to the Supervisor, supporting daily operations to maintain a clean and safe environment for animals. Responsibilities include general upkeep, feeding animals, and maintaining outdoor spaces. This position is perfect for those passionate about animal welfare and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure cleanliness of kennel facilities and animal enclosures
• Conduct general housekeeping duties including laundry
• Prepare and serve food for animals, including special diets
• Engage with and exercise dogs and cats
• Assist with transportation of animals and supplies using a vehicle

Requirements:
• Minimum one year of experience in animal care
• High school education required
• Willingness to obtain necessary vaccinations
• Clean G-Class driver’s license with minimal demerit points
• Robust ability to manage tasks and communicate effectively
