Develop and apply knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act, bilateral income tax treaties and Canadian tax jurisprudence
Research various tax-related issues
Assist in preparing corporate tax returns and other Canadian tax filings
Work collaboratively with the client engagement team
Communicate with the client and client engagement team
Set-up and help manage client files
Credentials
Completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business Administration (Accounting or Finance major preferred)
Enrolled in the University of Waterloo Masters of Taxation program in good standing
Previous tax or accounting related office experience is an asset
Customer service and/or client service experience is desirable
Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
