Canwest Auto Inc. is seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Lot Attendant to join our growing team. As a Lot Attendant, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our dealership. This position involves maintaining the appearance and organization of our vehicle inventory, supporting the sales and service teams, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Assist with parking and retrieving vehicles for customers, ensuring safe handling at all times.
- Organize, park, and maintain the display of vehicles on the lot.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including washing vehicles as needed.
- Monitor vehicle inventory and ensure that all vehicles are properly displayed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting guests as needed.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries and pickups, including customer test drives.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness of the lot, driveways, and dealership grounds.




- This position may include additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support the overall success and efficiency of dealership operations.

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Able to stand, walk, and be outdoors for extended periods, often in varying weather.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and stay productive in a busy setting.
- Shows up on time and can be trusted to complete assigned duties without constant supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Previous experience in guest services or dealership environments is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
- Friendly and respectful when interacting with customers and team members.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

- Valid British Columbia driver’s license
- Ability to legally operate a wide range of vehicles.
- Confident in driving both manual and automatic transmissions. Comfortable maneuvering vehicles in tight spaces.
