What you'll do

Collaborate directly with Dealer committees to identify opportunities to simplify the business, increase sales and store profitability

Support the operational execution of retail and fleet/commercial Auto Service priorities, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals, Dealer needs, and customer expectations

Develop and support strategies that improve overall Auto Service performance, including sales growth, service retention, operational consistency, and customer experience across all business channels

Partner with internal teams, Dealers, stores, and external stakeholders to define business requirements, resolve operational barriers, and ensure consistent execution of key Auto Service initiatives

Monitor operational and business performance, identify opportunities to improve service delivery and profitability, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for Dealers and Corporate stakeholders

Analyze data to make informed decisions, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity

Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management and stakeholders

Actively oversee multiple work streams and phases of various projects

Provide explicit, actionable, and timely feedback to allow stakeholders to make better decisions

Motivate and inspire the team, delegate tasks effectively, and provide guidance and support when needed

Develop clear communication plans to inform Dealers and their teams of key Auto Service priorities

Identify problems, analyze them critically, and develop effective solutions

Track the progress of key operational initiatives, measuring their effectiveness, and adjusting as needed to achieve desired outcomes

Ensure cross functional alignment and impact is understood and considered with all decisions

Encourage innovation, foster a culture of learning,



and proactively seek opportunities to optimize processes and enhance operational performance

Demonstrate being driven by proactively identifying opportunities, taking ownership of outcomes, and maintaining focus on priorities that improve customer experience, Dealer profitability, and operational performance

Demonstrate being courageous by respectfully challenging existing ways of working, making fact-based recommendations, surfacing risks early, and leading through ambiguity and change

Demonstrate being united by building trusted relationships, aligning stakeholders around shared goals, and creating clear communication pathways across Corporate teams, Dealers, stores, and fleet/commercial partners

Develop strategies to mitigate risk, ensuring minimal disruption to Auto Service operations

Maintain and encourage open lines of communication between groups/team members via positive relationship management

Promote a culture of continuous improvement by gathering feedback from employees and stakeholders, analyzing lessons learned, and applying best practices for future initiatives

Act as key contact and SME for Auto Service Support

Travel may be required periodically to Canadian Tire stores across Canada

What you bring

Post-secondary education in business or related area- minimum of 5 years progressive management experience.

Minimum of 5 years of corporate experience A deep understanding of business principles, financial management, and operational metrics

Motivated, self-starter with the ability to function in an environment with a high level of ambiguity and change.

Highly organized and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; Juggling multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

Possessing strong understanding of Canadian Tire operations is an asset. Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for automotive and a desire to collaborate, influence and work with a variety of entrepren
