Post Basic ECE Special Needs Citation is preferredMinimum of two years of working experienceExperience working in an inclusive programKnowledge and understanding of the B.C. Early Learning FrameworkKey Responsibilities include:Program planning and implementation of the daily curriculum to include indoor/outdoor, active/quiet and individual and group activities.Work collaboratively with families, teachers and therapists to ensure the effective inclusion of all children and their familiesEnsure that individual assessment plans are implemented and monitoredEnsure that all communications and interactions with families display respect for cultural diversity and differing family stylesKeep abreast of current trends and information in the Early Childhood Education fieldWork collaboratively with the Centre Coordinator, consultants and therapists as neededPay:$27.53 – $31.57 per hour, based on experienceThis position is open to all applicants. This position requires union membership.
