Vimi Laser & Skincare is an established medical aesthetics and skincare clinic in Markham with over 30 years of experience in the beauty and medical aesthetics industry.

We are looking for an experienced, professional and personable Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate is confident performing laser hair removal and waxing services, provides an exceptional client experience, and is interested in growing within a modern medical aesthetics workplace.

Responsibilities

- Perform professional waxing services, including facial and body waxing
- Perform laser hair removal treatments
- Conduct client consultations and recommend appropriate treatments
- Prepare clients before treatments and provide proper aftercare instructions
- Maintain accurate client treatment notes and records
- Maintain treatment rooms to a high standard of cleanliness and organization
- Follow proper sanitation, infection-control and safety protocols
- Educate clients on skincare, treatment plans and home-care products
- Recommend additional treatments when appropriate based on the client's concerns
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Assist with clinic flow, room preparation and day-to-day operations when needed
- Maintain a polished, professional and welcoming presence

Preferred Experience

We are looking for someone with experience in:

- Laser hair removal
- Facial and body waxing
- Medical aesthetics
- Skincare treatments and consultations
- Client service and treatment planning

Experience with additional medical aesthetic treatments is considered an asset, including:
- Hydrafacial
- Medical-grade facials
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- IPL or other laser-based treatments
- Body treatments
- Advanced skincare

Qualifications




- Medical Aesthetician / Advanced Aesthetician education or certification
- Laser technician training or certification preferred
- Previous hands-on laser hair removal experience strongly preferred
- Strong waxing skills
- Excellent communication and client-service skills
- Comfortable recommending treatments and retail skincare products
- Professional, reliable and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passionate about skincare, beauty and medical aesthetics
- Comfortable working in a busy, client-focused clinic environment
