Job DescriptionEverguard Fire Safety is hiring a Fire Suppression Technician to install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire suppression systems.ResponsibilitiesVerify the condition of fire suppression systems, including installation compliance and component locationsTest, replace, and repair system componentsPerform mechanical and electrical tests required to certify proper system operationAssess equipment, work environments, and operating conditionsRead and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, schematics, and product or operational manualsReview plans, customer requests, code requirements,



and non-conformance issues to determine appropriate solutionsInstall systems according to manufacturer specificationsValidate system operation following installationPrepare stock materials for assigned work orders and manage material usageComplete daily reports for work orders and activitiesFollow protected work practices and demonstrate safety leadershipMentor trainees and other field service team membersParticipate in 24/7 on-call and emergency service as requiredQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of field experience across various industries preferredDiploma in a mechanical trade preferredValid driver's licence requiredFire service certifications and/or fire suppression training considered an assetRelated combinations of education and experience will be consideredCandidates advancing through the hiring process will be required to provide a current Certificate of Conduct and Driver's AbstractSalary Rate: $19.00 to $25.00 per hourHours Per Week: 40
