Role Description The Postdoctoral Researcher will conduct high-quality pediatric research, including designing studies, collecting and analyzing data, and disseminating findings through manuscripts, conference presentations, and grant reports. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with principal investigators and multidisciplinary clinical teams, maintaining accurate research documentation, and ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. The role involves mentoring students or junior research staff, contributing to grant writing,



and helping to develop new research protocols that align with the program’s scientific priorities.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Montreal, QC, requiring regular presence in laboratories, clinical research areas, and team meetings.

Qualifications

- Strong research and analytical skills, including study design, data collection, and quantitative or qualitative data analysis.
- Scientific writing and communication skills, with experience preparing manuscripts, abstracts, reports, and presentations.
- Experience with research ethics, regulatory compliance, and working within institutional review board (IRB) or equivalent approval processes.
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, manage multiple projects, and maintain organized and accurate research records.
- Doctoral degree (PhD, MD/PhD, or equivalent) in a relevant field such as biomedical sciences, public health, psychology, or related discipline.
- Background or robust interest in pediatrics, child health, or clinical/translational research is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with relevant statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS) and/or laboratory techniques, depending on the research focus.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive research practices.
