About the Opportunity

Connexus Industries is a North American engineered-product distribution business headquartered in Vancouver, with a service and warehouse facility in Atlanta. The company is owned by Canerector Inc., a privately held, debt-free network of 50 manufacturing and distribution businesses, so Connexus runs with real autonomy and long-term ownership behind it.

The business operates two complementary divisions. The Industrial Chain Division imports and distributes engineered chain, laser measurement systems, and metal detection equipment. It sources from offshore manufacturing partners and sells across North America to forestry, pulp and paper, mining, and food processing customers.

The Environmental Waste Division delivers long-cycle, strong-margin wastewater and industrial environmental projects for municipal and industrial clients. The business has substantial growth potential across both divisions.

We're looking for a hands-on President to lead the next chapter: sharpen the commercial engine, tighten the supply chain, and scale both divisions.

What You'll Do

- Own the full P&L; and set the vision, strategy, and execution plan for growth and profitability across both divisions
- Lead sales strategy and optimize the channel mix across factory-direct, distributor, manufacturer rep, and inside sales
- Expand into underserved territories (Southeast US, Wisconsin/Michigan, LATAM) and deepen penetration in core verticals
- Manage offshore supplier relationships, freight, customs, tariffs, and landed cost, with pricing that reflects true burdened margin




- Plan inventory across 90–120 day lead times with disciplined forecasting and an S&OP-style; cadence
- Build the Environmental Division's project pipeline and engineering capacity
- Lead the in-progress Epicor ERP implementation and establish clear management reporting
- Develop a tenured, cohesive senior team of four direct reports and ~35 employees

What You Bring

- 15 years in engineered-product distribution or industrial manufacturing involving offshore sourcing, ideally with primary suppliers in China or Asia
- Full P&L; leadership of a comparable business of $25-50M in revenue
- Senior experience in a multi-channel distribution setting
- Hands-on experience with Canada–US cross-border operations, including freight, tariffs, duty, and intercompany practices
- A track record of growing revenue and expanding margin
- Project-based business experience (an asset)
- Post-secondary education, with a business or engineering degree preferred
- A data-first, decisive operating style and comfort with autonomy and direct accountability

Compensation

Base salary of $175,000-$225,000 CAD, plus an uncapped profit-share bonus tied directly to Connexus profitability. Canerector pays strong operators meaningful performance-tied upside.
