Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AML (Anti-Money Laundering) testing and a background in Payments, Banking, or FinTech. The ideal candidate will have experience testing financial applications, transaction monitoring systems, AML workflows, and regulatory/compliance-related functionality.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts for AML and financial applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate AML transaction monitoring, customer screening, alert generation, case management, and investigation workflows.
- Test AML rules, scenarios, thresholds, alerts, and transaction-monitoring workflows.
- Validate data flow across upstream and downstream systems and ensure transaction data is accurately processed.
- Perform API testing and database validation using SQL.
- Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios covering positive, negative, and edge cases.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers,



Product Owners, Compliance/AML teams, and other stakeholders.
- Support UAT, production validation, and release activities.
- Ensure testing aligns with applicable financial-services and compliance requirements.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Testing.
- Hands-on experience with AML / Anti-Money Laundering testing.
- Experience working with at least one of the following domains:
- Payments
- Banking
- FinTech
- Strong understanding of AML transaction monitoring and compliance workflows.
- Experience testing financial transactions, payment processing, or banking applications.
- Strong knowledge of STLC, test planning, test execution, defect management, and QA processes.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Strong SQL/database testing skills.
- Experience with Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar defect/test management tools.
- Valuable understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
