WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We’re hiring a Quality Assurance Compliance Associate tofacilitate the transition of day-to-day execution, including the management of NCRs, CAPAs, LIRs, routine eQMS administration, and MOC impact assessments, to a dedicated resource.

This is an on-site role based out of our Eastside Manufacturing Facility in Etobicoke.

PAY RANGE The anticipated base salary for this position is $58,000 to $63,000.

Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

- Serve as the primary Quality Compliance Point of Contact for the management of Changes, Non-Conformances (NCRs), Action Items, CAPAs, and Laboratory Investigation Reports (LIRs).
- Review and formally approve NCRs, CAPAs, Action Items, and LIRs to ensure robust root cause analysis and effective corrective measures.
- Act as the Lead Investigator for Quality Services Non-Conformance investigations, guiding them from discovery through to closure.
- Review and approve essential operational documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), Reference Documents (REFs), Document Change Forms (DCFs), Specifications, Protocols, and Reports.
- Process Management of Changes (MOC), conducting thorough impact assessments to evaluate how proposed changes will affect existing systems, processes, and procedures.
- Support the creation and maintenance of quality system records, ensuring accurate document filing, and maintain the archival of GMP documents.




- Track SOP and quality document expiration dates, sending periodic review reminders to document owners to ensure procedures do not expire.
- Maintain and administer DECIEM’s electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), executing daily system tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Support eQMS system changes and required Validation activities.
- Maintain database and inventory of Logbook issuance and archival,

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, etc.) or related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Compliance within the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industry.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience maintaining and navigating an electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), MS Suite, SAP System
- Subject Matter Expertise: Solid foundational knowledge of root cause investigations, technical documentation routing, facility compliance monitoring, and change control processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent cross-functional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to confidently lead stakeholder meetings and hold teams accountable to deadlines.
