Patients come to us from across Canada and trust us with one of the biggest decisions of their lives. We're looking for a true SUPERSTAR dietitian to join our clinical team and help us live up to that trust.

Work from anywhere

This role is 100% remote. You'll see patients over Zoom from wherever you live. No commute, no parking, no hospital cafeteria. If you're the right person, we don't care which province you call home.

What you'll do

- Provide comprehensive nutritional assessments
- Deliver pre- and post-operative teaching
- Identify and manage vitamin and micronutrient deficiencies
- Guide patients through every stage of their bariatric journey

We're rebuilding our entire aftercare program from the ground up, and our goal is ambitious: to create something that doesn't currently exist in bariatric care. That's where you come in.

We're not looking for someone who wants to run through a checklist of appointments. We want someone creative who thinks outside the box. Someone who shows up with fresh ideas on how to educate, engage, and support patients in a virtual setting. New to bariatrics? That's okay.

Bariatric experience is welcome but not required. We can teach you the clinical specifics. What we can't teach is curiosity, initiative, and genuine warmth with patients.

Room to grow

This position starts as casual. You'll pick up hours to fill gaps in our schedule and cover vacations, so flexibility is key.

But let's be direct: the opportunity here is very real. As our aftercare program expands, we'll need great people, and we would much rather grow someone who's already part of our team than look elsewhere. For the right person, this can grow into regular hours and a bigger role in shaping where the program goes. And if casual work suits you for the foreseeable future, that's great too.

What you'll bring:

- EXCEPTIONAL people skills. We can't emphasize this enough. This job is all about connecting with patients, and doing it through a screen makes that even more important. You MUST be the epitome of a "people person."
- Sound clinical judgment and the ability to work in an independent, self-directed way
- A creative streak and genuine enjoyment in finding new ways to educate patients
- Confidence presenting and teaching over video
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfort with technology. You'll use Zoom, an electronic medical record, and other digital tools every day

Requirements:

- B.Sc. in Nutrition
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate dietetic internship, Master's degree, or equivalent
- Registered Dietitian in good standing with your provincial regulatory college
- Member in good standing of Dietitians of Canada
- A quiet, private home workspace and reliable internet suitable for confidential patient visits
