Job Title: DZ Septic Truck Driver (3+ Years Experience)

Position Overview

Our client in Sadowa is seeking an experienced DZ Septic Truck Driver to join their team full-time. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of DZ driving experience, strong customer-service skills, and the ability to safely operate a vacuum/septic truck for residential, commercial, and emergency service calls, because stuff happens. This role requires flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a DZ-rated septic/vacuum truck to pump out sewage, septic tanks, holding tanks, and related waste systems.

Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean driver's abstract.

Complete all required paperwork, service notes, and job documentation accurately and on time.

Communicate clearly with dispatch, office staff, and customers.

Provide professional, courteous customer service during all site visits.

Collect cash payments when required and follow proper handling procedures.

Respond to emergency call-ins, including evenings or weekends when needed.

Follow all CSA safety requirements, including wearing CSA-approved work shoes.

Maintain cleanliness and safe operation of the truck and equipment.

Adhere to all company policies, environmental regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications

Valid DZ license with minimum 3 years of experience.

Clean driver's abstract (required).





Ability to pass a police background check.

Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.

Reliable note-taking and paperwork accuracy.

Excellent communication and people skills.

Ability to work independently and handle physically demanding tasks.

Comfortable with variable hours, including weekends and emergency call-ins.

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time position; hours vary depending on workload and emergency calls.

Overtime paid after 44 hours.

Starting wage: $28.50/hour.

Benefits available after 3 months.
