The Maintenance Supervisor leads the maintenance work activities for their respective shift. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the maintenance activities, utilities and grounds. The Maintenance Supervisor delegates assignments to ensure timely and efficient completion.Reports to: Maintenance LeaderDirect Reports: Hourly Maintenance employeesJob ResponsibilitiesEnsure employees completion of all required safety trainingImplement a personal safety action plan and review with leaderEnsures a safe work environment through employee coaching and engagement and strict adherence to OC's safety policies and procedures while conducting environmental and quality activitiesParticipates in the investigation of safety incidents and leads root cause analysis to drive for permanent resolutionLeading safety by ensuring safety documentations, and permits are completedLeading and Developing TalentEngages all teams to collaboratively own the success of the business by contributing to continuous improvement in the areas of safety, quality, cost, productivity, etc.Provides candid feedback on expectations and performance to members of the team on a regular basis and drive appropriate actions for further improvementImplements and documents corrective action when performance issues occurFurther develop maintenance training plans and create a continuous learning environment for employeesEffectively lead and manage change for his/her workgroup while maintaining high levels of employee engagementPartners with relevant stakeholders to ensure team members are well trained and up to date on certifications required to perform the full scope of the jobDevelops and implement a work environment characterized by mutual trust and respect, open and honest communications, teamwork, accountability, fun, and a passion for winningBehaves consistently with desired Owens Corning leadership characteristics and competenciesMonitor and enforce all plant and corporate policies and proceduresDirecting Maintenance Operations (Mechanical & Electrical)Works closely with the Production Department in a team-based environment that is designed to manage in a manner that will ensure continuously improving machine performance and employee efficiencyEnsures the routine maintenance of Plant and is Responsible for all aspects of the Maintenance OperationsDevelopment and execution of Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programsEnsures the Plant needs for maintenance services are prioritized and managedGrow the service and quality culture in the department and meet / exceed established goalsBecome a technical resource regarding the insulation manufacturing process, equipment and protocolsTechnical knowledge in mechanical drive systems, Electrical controls & VFDs, Instrumentations, fluid power systems, pumping systems, mixing systems, data acquisition, etc.Identify opportunities for reliability performance and cost improvementPerforms root cause analysis in partnership with key stakeholders to address quality issues and resolve those issues in a timely mannerUtilizes proper resourcing to meet cost targetsVerify time and attendance reports ensuring processing and production needs are metLeads Continuous Improvement ActivitiesLeverage standard work to minimize variation and waste.Lead focused Improvement activities to improve process capability and efficiencies, reduce costs, and eliminate wastePartners with relevant stakeholders to optimize process and drive continuous improvement initiativeParticipates in 5S events in various work areas throughout plantJob RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field or equivalent experienceThree (3) – Five (5) years progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing settingExperience3 to 5 years work experience in manufacturing, industrial, or related environment requiredPredictive/Preventive Maintenance and Reliability Engineering experiences are highly desiredExperience operating heavy industry process equipment, Air Compressors and distribution, and several process water supply systems)Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesComputer literacy—MRP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite,
