Qubers is a home services platform connecting customers across Toronto and the GTA with providers for cleaning, household help, babysitting, senior companionship, and other everyday services.

We’re building a brand that makes finding trusted help at home feel simple, convenient, and personal—and we’re looking for someone creative to help bring that story to life.

The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Social Media Manager & Content Creator to create engaging content, manage our social channels, and help develop Qubers’ online presence.

This is a content-first position. You will develop ideas, create reels and graphics, edit videos, write captions, plan campaigns, and help shape how Qubers looks and communicates online.

You will work directly with the founder to create content that connects with local families, attracts customers, and supports service provider recruitment.

Core Responsibilities

Content Creation

- Develop original content ideas relevant to home services, busy households, and everyday life.
- Create reels and short-form videos from concept through final edit.
- Edit footage supplied by our team and providers, alongside original content you can produce remotely.
- Design posts, carousels, stories, and promotional graphics.
- Write engaging captions, hooks, and clear calls to action.
- Create service explainers, launch content, recruitment posts, and behind-the-scenes stories.
- Turn approved customer feedback and provider stories into engaging content.
- Maintain a consistent flow of fresh, relevant content.

Social Media Management

Manage and develop Qubers’ social presence, with an initial focus on Instagram and Facebook, and expand content to TikTok as appropriate.

Responsibilities include

- Planning and maintaining a content calendar.
- Scheduling and publishing content consistently.
- Adapting content to suit each platform.




- Monitoring comments and messages and responding to general enquiries.
- Referring booking, complaint, or service-related questions to the Qubers team.
- Tracking engagement, audience growth, website visits, and enquiries.
- Identifying trends and recommending ideas that suit the brand.
- Using performance results to improve future content.

Campaigns & Community Growth

- Develop content for service launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns.
- Create customer-facing campaigns and provider recruitment content.
- Produce creative assets for social media advertising.
- Identify relevant local creators, influencers, and community partners.
- Help coordinate approved collaborations and track their results.
- Build awareness among families and households across Toronto and the GTA.

Brand Image & Development

- Maintain a consistent visual style and tone across social channels.
- Help develop Qubers’ warm, professional, and approachable brand voice.
- Present our services clearly through helpful and relatable content.
- Bring fresh ideas for showcasing our providers, services, and community.
- Ensure published content accurately reflects our services and approved brand messaging.

Collaboration

- Work closely with the founder on content priorities and campaigns.
- Coordinate with the team to gather footage, photos, and service updates.
- Provide simple filming briefs so team members can capture useful content.
- Organize content files and manage feedback and approvals.
- Take creative projects from idea to publication within agreed deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

We’re less concerned with a specific number of years of experience and more interested in your ability to create,



execute, and consistently deliver quality content.

You should be comfortable taking an idea through the full process:

Concept → Create → Edit → Caption → Publish → Analyze

We’re looking for someone with:

- Strong creative instincts and an eye for clean, engaging design.
- Confident writing and short-form video editing skills.
- An understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- The ability to create content that encourages enquiries and bookings.
- Good organization, communication, and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently in a remote role.
- Access to a computer and reliable internet.

Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, or similar tools is an asset. You do not need to know every tool—show us what you can create with the tools you use.

Experience with local businesses, home services, family-focused brands, startups, influencer collaborations, or Meta ads is also an asset.

Position Details

- Job type: Part-time.
- Work location: Remote.
- Pay: CAD $20–$28 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skills.
- Schedule: Weekly hours and availability to be agreed upon during hiring.
