Job Title: Structural Analyst (Contract)
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Mirabel, QC

Introduction

As part of the industrialization of a commercial aircraft program, the primary role is to ensure that stress analysis within the assigned scope is compliant with certification requirements for primary structure in static and fatigue. Knowledge of secondary structures and systems installations is an asset. The position reports directly to the Calculation Team Lead.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in primary metallic structure stress analysis (skin/frames/stringers, etc.).
- Experience in calculation of sheet metal and machined parts.
- Proficiency in NASTRAN, PATRAN (existing model usage, force/stress extraction).
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications





- Project management experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of aeronautical calculation processes and methods used in the industry.
- Altair Hyperworks is an asset.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Ensure the technical scope is respected in accordance with customer requirements, program needs, and manufacturing requirements.
- Participate in primary and/or secondary structure stress analyses within the assigned scope.
- Prepare key technical deliverables and ensure compliance with client and program requirements.
