Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending popular dishes or beverages.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately,



including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests with professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff.

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and cashiering.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy.
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant revenue.
