Schedule: 7-on/7-off | 12-hour shifts | Days & Nights
Location: Esterhazy, SK
LOA Available for Eligible Employees

About the Role

This hands-on leadership position is ideal for an experienced underground mining professional who can safely operate a Two-Rotor Miner while leading and supporting underground crews. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure safe and efficient production, mentor employees, and maintain compliance with all company, client, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise, mentor, and support underground crews.
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture.
- Safely operate a Two-Rotor Miner as required.
- Coordinate daily production activities and support crews.
- Conduct inspections, hazard assessments, and safety meetings.
- Monitor mining conditions, equipment performance, and workplace compliance.
- Prepare daily reports and communicate operational priorities to site leadership.

Qualifications Required

- Experience operating a Two-Rotor Miner in an underground potash mining setting.
- 1-3 years of supervisory or crew leadership experience.




- Strong understanding of underground mining equipment, production, and safety practices.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Certifications

- General Mine Safety Awareness (GMSA)
- Fall Protection
- First Aid/CPR
- Supervisor Training / Supervisor Ticket

Assets

- Additional underground mining certifications (Ground Disturbance, H2S, etc.).
- Experience operating other underground mobile equipment.
