When you volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society you have real impact. The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a volunteer-led event and the largest breast cancer fundraiser in Canada. Join us on event day in your local community. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability.

Description

Responsibilities:

- Provide first aid assistance to participants and spectators during the event.
- Respond promptly to any medical emergencies or injuries.
- Work closely with the event medical team to ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees.
- Maintain a calm and reassuring presence in potentially stressful situations.
- Keep accurate records of any incidents and treatments provided.

Requirements:

- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a first aid role is an asset.
