The Express Start Breakfast Attendant supports the daily breakfast operation to ensure a consistently high‑quality, efficient, and welcoming experience for all guests. This role upholds brand standards, food safety requirements, and provincial/municipal health regulations while maintaining a clean, organized, and well‑stocked breakfast environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Guest Experience & Service Quality
- Contribute to achieving departmental quality and guest satisfaction goals.
- Provide friendly, attentive service; assist guests with requests and address concerns promptly to maintain a positive experience.
- Maintain a visible presence in the breakfast area to ensure service standards are consistently met.
- Food Safety, Compliance & Product Handling
- Ensure all complimentary Express Start Breakfast items are handled, stored, and displayed according to provincial health regulations and IHG brand standards.
- Monitor food temperatures, product rotation, and allergen awareness practices to ensure safe consumption.
- Keep all food and beverage items secure, clean,



and replenished throughout service while minimizing waste.
- Breakfast Area Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all front‑of‑house breakfast spaces, including counters, seating areas, and self‑service stations.
- Ensure back‑of‑house pantry and storage areas remain clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards.
- Conduct continuous visual checks of all breakfast zones and take corrective action when standards are not met.
- Operational Support & Communication
- Restock supplies and equipment as needed to support uninterrupted service.
- Report maintenance or repair needs to the Engineering team immediately to prevent service disruption.
- Support overall departmental efficiency by following established procedures and contributing to process improvements.
- Expected to conduct yourself in a skilled manner at all times and uphold the Company’s standards of service and conduct.

Pay: $18.10-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
