We are hiring for an existing vacancy for an Intermediate Civil – Hydrotechnical Engineer to join our Toronto, Ontario team. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering teams in North Bay, ON and Vancouver, BC.

About this Position:

This position will be working in the mining, hydropower, and/or water infrastructure sectors. Participating in multidiscipline project teams and may include domestic and international travel to support projects and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Hydrodynamic modelling
- Water management planning
- Hydrometeorological analysis
- Streamflow and climate data collection
- Hydraulic design
- Water balance modelling
- Watershed modelling
- Mentor junior staff and support client relations and proposal development

Qualification Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer with PEO or other Canadian province or territory.
- A strong technical design background in geotechnical analyses and project management experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience related to hydrologic and hydrodynamic modelling, hydrometeorologic data collection and analysis, water management, and hydraulic design is required.





We place an emphasis on developing practical solutions to meet the needs of our clients, and preference will be given to individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in addition to strong technical competence.

Pay and Benefits:

The estimated base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 CAD. The salary offered will be dependent on relevant knowledge, experience, and skill level. KP’s total compensation and benefits also includes the following:
