Inclusion Chilliwack Society is looking for an exceptional Caregiver to support and enhance the life of an adult with developmental disabilities in our HomeShare program. As a HomeShare Provider, you are considered an independent contractor, providing the necessary delivery of service of care in your home.

As a HomeShare Provider, you are someone who thrives on building a positive relationship with the individual you support, and you make the individual feel like a family member in your home.

Daily Tasks and Activities:

- Providing full personal care including lifts and transfers
- Caregiving/healthcare assistance
- Meal support
- Housekeeping assistance
- Companionship/Inclusion
- Transportation with a wheelchair to activities/appointments
- Providing emotional support

Requirements and Experience:





- MUST be a bedroom in main area of the home - i.e. NO suites or basements
- MUST be a fully wheelchair accessible home
- Class 5 driver’s license
- Explicit criminal record
- Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate effectively with the individual, ICS Manager, and Health Care Professionals
- Experience supporting complex health issues
- Money management skills would be an asset

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $3,000.00-$3,600.00 per month
