Job Summary

Hungry Zus is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, prepares and serves food items, and ensures a positive dining experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and satisfied. Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Prepare and assemble food orders according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash transactions efficiently, providing correct change and processing payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food with care to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
- Assist in stocking supplies,



ingredients, and condiments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality or safety

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
- Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude during high-volume periods

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
