Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Richmond, BC (Hybrid)
We are hiring an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist on behalf of a major North American manufacturing enterprise. This fast-paced role is ideal for a detail-driven AP professional who thrives in a high-volume, multi-entity environment and possesses at least 2 years of dedicated corporate accounts payable experience, ideally in a larger company.
You will manage end-to-end AP processes, high-volume invoice processing, and vendor account reconciliations within a large-scale operating setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of vendor invoices efficiently and accurately across multiple entities, ensuring proper GL coding, PO matching, and internal control compliance.
- Perform complex vendor statement reconciliations and resolve price/quantity discrepancies by liaising with purchasing, receiving, and operations teams.
- Prepare and execute high-volume weekly payment runs (EFT, cheque, wire transfers).
- Manage high-volume vendor inquiries professionally, prioritizing urgent payment issues and maintaining positive vendor relations.
- Assist month-end close processes related to AP, including accruals and AP sub-ledger to GL reconciliations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of direct, full-cycle Accounts Payable experience handling high-volume transactions in a fast-paced corporate or manufacturing setting (excluding co-op/internships).
- Strong working knowledge of full-cycle AP workflows, 3-way matching, and internal controls.
- Proficiency with enterprise-level ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Dynamics) and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Proven ability to independently manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and solve complex AP exceptions.

Pay: $55,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
