One World Staffing is hiring a reliable and responsible U-Haul Driver / Event Staff member to support an upcoming Candlelight concert at The Rope Factory Event Hall in Brantford.

About the Event

Candlelight concerts are live music experiences created by Fever, featuring talented local musicians performing in unique venues illuminated by candlelight.

As a U-Haul Driver / Event Staff member, you’ll be responsible for helping transport event equipment to and from the venue while also supporting the onsite event team.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

- Driving the U-Haul safely to and from the event venue
- Picking up and returning the U-Haul as required
- Loading and unloading event equipment and supplies
- Assisting with event setup and breakdown
- Moving equipment between the vehicle and venue
- Helping set up candles, signage, check-in areas, and event spaces
- Supporting the event staff with guest flow and general event operations
- Assisting with cleanup and packing equipment after the event
- Following instructions from the Event Lead and onsite team
- Ensuring all equipment is handled carefully and securely
- Communicating any vehicle, equipment, or onsite issues to the Event Lead

Driver Requirements

- Valid Ontario G driver's licence or other appropriate licence required to legally operate the assigned U-Haul vehicle




- Clean and secure driving record preferred
- Comfortable driving a U-Haul truck
- Comfortable loading and unloading event equipment
- Reliable transportation to the venue
- Able to work the full 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift
- Must be comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional

Previous experience driving rental trucks, moving equipment, event setup, logistics, hospitality, or event staffing is an asset.

Dress Code

- Fever/Candlelight branded shirt if provided
- All-black clothing
- Black pants or black jeans without holes
- Clean black shoes
- Clean, neat, and presentable appearance

If a branded shirt is not provided, a plain black top is acceptable.
