About the Role

This is a full-time position with either four 9-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, with one/two Saturday per month (rotating through shifts evenly with other VAs/CSRs). The work you’ll be doing includes the following:

- Answering phone calls and addressing emails; checking all messages and faxes
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Completing client invoices and reviewing for appropriate charges
- Handling financial transactions; debit, credit, cash, financing companies, insurance payments
- Restraint of animals for a variety of procedures including but not limited to blood draws, IV catheters, nail trims, physical exams, vaccines, anal gland expressions, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
- Set up and preparation of samples and equipment for in-house diagnostic
- Prepping client and exam rooms for Veterinarian(s) or Veterinary Technician(s)
- Assistance of Veterinary Technician(s)



and/or Veterinarian(s) during medical procedures as needed
- Filling prescriptions
- Restocking exam room and hospital treatment area with supplies
- General cleaning duties as described in variety of checklists throughout the hospital
- Other duties as assigned to assist with hospital operations
