Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Full Time or Part Time DZ Feed Truck Operator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for safely operating feed trucks to transport and distribute feed and supplies to Agricultural operations around Southern Ontario. Your expertise in feed truck operation, mechanical knowledge, and attention to detail will ensure safe smooth daily operations. This position offers an engaging workplace where your skills contribute directly to efficient farm management and animal care.

Duties

- Safely operate designated feed trucks to deliver feed, and commodities across Southern Ontario
- Perform routine inspections of trucks and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Accurately Load and unload, to maintain a solid chain of bio-security and contamination prevention
- Conduct basic maintenance tasks on equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage,



and maintenance logs
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving feed bags, equipment parts, or other farm materials

Requirements

- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools effectively
- Basic math skills for measuring quantities and calculating loads
- Familiarity with hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments on equipment
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
