Our boutique dental clinic in the heart of Vancouver is seeking an experienced and confident Dental Receptionist to join our team in a permanent, long-term part time position.
This is a single-dentist practice, and the successful candidate will serve as the sole dental receptionist, independently managing all front-desk and administrative operations. This role is best suited for someone with solid prior experience who is comfortable taking full ownership of the reception function.
As the first and primary point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient clinic experience.

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist; Dental Receptionist certificate is an asset, not required
- Ability to work independently and confidently as the sole receptionist
- Availability for a permanent schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 10:00 am–6:00 pm, and up to one Saturday per month
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Experience with dental office software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for patient engagement
- Commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage all reception and administrative duties for the clinic
- Greet and assist patients professionally and warmly
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar
- Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
- Verify insurance information and process billing, including direct insurance billing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Manage office supplies and inventory
- Coordinate closely with the dentist to ensure smooth patient flow
- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and care
