We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Grocery Store Manager to lead the successful operation and growth of our store. The ideal candidate is a solid leader with proven experience in setting up, launching, and managing grocery store operations, including staff recruitment, inventory planning, merchandising, vendor relationships, and operational processes.

Duties

- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service initiatives
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure high performance and professional growth
- Manage payroll processing, budgeting, and financial record-keeping with precision and integrity
- Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability
- Implement effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) system operations, and bookkeeping records
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards while fostering a positive team environment
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance staff skills in sales management and customer engagement

Experience

- 5+ years of grocery store management experience with a strong record of driving sales and leading high-performing teams.
- Proven experience setting up and launching a grocery store, including operations, inventory, vendor relationships, merchandising, and staffing.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, pricing,



purchasing, and customer service excellence.
- Experience with budgeting, payroll, cash handling, and POS systems.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and handle customer inquiries professionally
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks using effective time management techniques
- Familiarity with recruiting processes, interviewing candidates, and developing training programs for team development
- Leadership qualities that inspire motivation, foster teamwork, and promote a positive store culture
