About the Position:

We are currently seeking a HTST Operator at our Shaw’s Ice Cream facility located in Tillsonburg. This position will support the Batching team and work closely with the Plant Manager, handling the tasks outlined in the responsibilities section

Responsibilities:

· Ensure pasteurization, blending, and batching equipment are thoroughly sanitized prior to production.

· Confirm lot numbers and ingredients according to the blending formula before commencing the blending operation.

· Accurately measure and add ingredients into the raw blender.

· Document and verify blending sequences to maintain accuracy and consistency.

· Manage blender operations via the (HMI) screen.

· Maintain equipment.

· Maintain detailed batch records for each Batch.

· Operate the High-Temperature Short-Time (HTST) machine using the HMI screen.

· Ensure Critical Control Point (CCP) limits are met in accordance with the HACCP plan.

· Operate the pasteurizer and meticulously record all relevant data.

· Perform cleaning and sanitation of HTST equipment and raw material areas.

· Organize and prepare batches for the following day's production.





· Oversee the receipt of bulk cream following established procedures.

· Responsible to follow Food Safety and Food Quality programs in place (SQF, HACCP, GFCO, Fair Trade and Organic).

· Perform other tasks as assigned to support production operations.

· Must be Flexible with the hours

· Must be physically able to lift at least 25 kg’s

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma; further education in a related field is considered an asset.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Forklift license or experience is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
