Key Responsibilities

- Perform clinical assessments, review prescriptions for accuracy, and dispense medications safely in compliance with OCP standards.
- Provide patient counselling, medication reviews (MedsCheck), and minor ailments assessments.
- Manage pharmacy dispensary operations during assigned shift coverage.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians, assistants, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain clear and accurate records using various pharmacy software platforms (e.g., Kroll, HealthWATCH, Nexxsys).

Requirements

- Licensure: Registered as a Pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Ontario (CPO) (Part A).
- Insurance: Valid Personal Skilled Liability Insurance.
- Certification: Injection certified (preferred/asset).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Canadian community pharmacy practice preferred.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy management software (e.g., Kroll).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, patient care, and ability to adapt quickly to different pharmacy environments. Bilingualism (English/French) is a strong asset in the Ottawa region.
