The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time / Part-Time Painter to provide painting support across our residential properties. Our Painter will play an important role in maintaining the quality and appearance of Paragon Living properties and will represent the core values of Paragon Living. The ideal candidate will complete painting, surface preparation, touch-ups, and minor drywall repairs in residential suites, common areas, and other designated spaces, while working closely with our onsite and Property Management teams to ensure our properties are maintained to a high standard and prepared for our residents.

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Complete interior painting of residential suites, common areas, hallways, amenity spaces, offices, and other designated areas.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, filling holes, caulking, and completing minor drywall repairs as required.
- Apply primer, paint, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and appropriate painting equipment.




- Complete painting and touch-up work required for suite turnovers and ensure work is completed within established timelines.
- Ensure surfaces are properly prepared and finished to maintain a clean, consistent, and professional appearance.
- Protect flooring, fixtures, furniture, and surrounding areas before beginning work.
- Inspect completed work and address any touch-ups or deficiencies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Coordinate with Property Management, Maintenance, and other team members to prioritize painting requirements and schedules.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas throughout assigned projects.
- Properly clean, maintain, and store painting tools, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor painting supplies and communicate when additional materials are required.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures, including the safe handling, storage, and disposal of painting materials.
- Travel between properties as required to complete assigned painting work.
- Perform other painting-related duties as required to support property operations and suite readiness.

What You Bring to the Team:

- Previous professional painting experience in residential, multi-family, commercial, construction, or property management environments.
- Robust knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques, materials, tools, and finishes.
- Experience with patching, sanding, caulking, and minor drywall repairs.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce clean and professional-quality finishes.




- Ability to work independently and efficiently while managing assigned priorities and deadlines.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized with strong time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members.
- Ability to safely use ladders, painting equipment, and related tools.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable transportation for travel between properties.
- Ability to provide a explicit Criminal Record Check upon request.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to safely lift, carry, move, and position painting supplies and equipment, including 5-gallon pails of paint weighing up to approximately 60 lbs (27 kg), as required in the regular performance of the role. Employees are expected to follow established safe lifting and material-handling procedures and use appropriate equipment or assistance when necessary.

Hours of Availability
This position generally follows a Monday-to-Friday schedule. Some flexibility may be required to support unit turnovers, maintenance-related painting and wall repairs, move-ins and move-outs, and month-end or month-start operational needs.
Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required to support urgent turnover deadlines, emergency restoration work, or other operational needs as directed by management.
