We are looking for a organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Body Shop Detailer, Helper & Parts Manager to join our team at Skydome. autoIn this versatile role, you will be key to keeping our collision shop running smoothly—handling parts inventory and tracking, preparing finished vehicles, and providing general support across the shop.

This position is ideal for a proactive team player who enjoys hands-on automotive work, takes pride in delivering spotless vehicles, and has robust organizational skills to keep track of incoming and outgoing parts.

Key Responsibilities

- Parts Management:
- Receive, inspect, and sign for incoming collision parts, verifying shipments against order lists for accuracy and damage.
- Mirror-match and verify incoming replacement parts with damaged original parts.
- Organize, store, and distribute parts to assigned body technicians and preppers.
- Track returned or damaged parts, coordinate vendor returns, and follow up on delayed orders to prevent repair delays.
- Detailing & Cleaning:
- Wash, vacuum, and detail vehicle exteriors and interiors post-repair to restore them to pristine condition prior to delivery.
- Apply polish, wax, and protective coatings to post-repair surfaces as needed.




- Perform quality check inspections on finished vehicles to ensure shop standards are met before customer pickup.
- Shop Helper & Operations:
- Assist body technicians, preppers, and painters with staging, moving, and parking vehicles around the shop and lot.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe shop work areas, equipment, and parts storage spaces.
- Assist with general shop errands, stocking supplies, and hazardous material/waste management.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Prior experience in auto body repair, parts inventory, or detailing is preferred, but training will be provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and mechanical aptitude.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to track incoming parts and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs (handling heavy parts or detailing equipment).
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required for staging customer vehicles.
- Team-Oriented: Robust communication skills, reliability, and a positive attitude toward supporting shop operations.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
