Your Contribution:

Your main responsibilities

- Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety leadership by adhering to and promoting Englobe's health and safety policies, procedures, and practices;
- Conduct marine structural condition assessments, inspections, and site reviews, and prepare explicit, comprehensive technical reports;
- Evaluate and analyze marine structures composed of concrete, steel, timber, and other construction materials;
- Prepare engineering deliverables including design calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates;
- Support the planning, execution, and delivery of marine infrastructure projects across Atlantic Canada;
- Coordinate project activities and technical deliverables with structural engineers and multidisciplinary project teams;
- Develop design concepts, sketches,



and practical engineering solutions to address project and site requirements;
- Review shop drawings and provide technical recommendations during design and construction phases;
- Monitor project progress and communicate timely updates to project managers and senior team members;
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing innovative ideas, technical expertise, and lessons learned.

Your Profile:

What makes you unique

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering; a Master's degree is considered an asset;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine engineering, preferably within a consulting engineering or marine infrastructure environment;
- Experience with the design, assessment, and construction of marine facilities such as wharves, piers, launchways, slipways, floating docks, shoreline protection structures, breakwaters, and related infrastructure;
- Strong knowledge of applicable Canadian engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices;
- Experience in marine structural design, construction inspection, contract administration, project coordination, and project management;
- Solid understanding of marine construction methods and the interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear technical documentation and client-facing reports;
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing demands, and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams;
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software used in marine and civil engineering applications;
- Registered, or eligible for immediate registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with APEGNB, Engineers Nova Scotia, PEGNL, or another Canadian engineering regulatory body.
