Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting and handling items efficiently and safely, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving, along with strong communication skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting.

Your Role

As a 26 ft Truck Driver and Team Lead, you will:

- Drive a 26 ft truck throughout the GTA
- Lead a delivery crew and manage on-site workflow
- Deliver, set up, and position commercial restaurant equipment
- Debox,



install, and remove packaging
- Remove old equipment when required
- Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, equipment, and other items
- Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with safety regulations
- Use forklifts and other moving equipment when required. Training can be provided.
- Assist customers and ensure a positive delivery experience
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers about schedules and instructions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles and work areas
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries

Most jobs are straightforward. Occasionally you may need to:

- Move equipment up or down stairs. This is not common.
- Lift a fridge over a counter. This is rare and always done with the proper tools and team support.

Requirements

- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or commercial driving is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks
- Strong communication skills for working with customers and teammates
- Experience operating forklifts is an asset but not mandatory
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to reach job sites on time
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace

Compensation

- $30 per hour
- Quarterly bonuses
- Part-time schedule with the potential for increased responsibilities over time
