Job Summary
Talbot House is seeking compassionate and reliable Residential Care Workers to support men in recovery within a structured, supportive living environment. Staff play a key role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused atmosphere for residents.

Duties

- Provide day-to-day support and supervision of residents
- Assist with meal preparation and household duties
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment
- Support residents in following program structure and expectations
- Monitor and document resident activities and incidents
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations
- Administer or support medication routines as required (if applicable)

Qualifications

- Fluent in English (required)




- Valid First Aid/CPR certification (considered an asset)
- Valid driver's license
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform active duties
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with addictions, mental health, or residential care (preferred but not required)
- Willing and able to successfully complete a criminal background check
