Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Lane Closure Technician to ensure the safe and efficient management of lane closures on roadways and construction sites. In this role, you will operate light pickup trucks, assist with paving operations, and support construction activities to facilitate smooth traffic flow and safe work zones. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of infrastructure projects while maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities

- Operate heavy machinery such as barriers, cones, and signage to set up and secure lane closure zones
- Assist with paving operations, including preparing surfaces and ensuring proper compaction and alignment
- Support construction crews by handling materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely
- Monitor traffic control devices and ensure proper placement for optimal safety during work hours
- Conduct routine inspections of work zones to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and traffic management personnel to coordinate activities
- Maintain detailed records of daily tasks,



equipment usage, and safety checks to ensure accountability and compliance

Qualifications

- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation within construction or roadway maintenance environments
- Knowledge of paving techniques and construction processes related to infrastructure projects
- Ability to read plans, diagrams, and safety instructions clearly and accurately
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to traffic control, heavy machinery operation, and construction sites
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, operate machinery, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license; CDL certification is a plus but not required
- Prior experience working on roadway or highway projects is highly desirable
