Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Shipping/Forklift Operator with strong warehouse and logistics experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a counterbalance propane forklift, loading and unloading trailers, preparing shipments, and ensuring goods are properly organized and loaded according to routes and scheduled trips.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate a counterbalance propane forklift safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload truck trailers using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
- Determine the appropriate placement and loading sequence of goods based on US routes and trip schedules.
- Ensure products are properly secured and organized in trailers to prevent damage during transportation.
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other required paperwork.
- Handle LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) shipments, including preparing orders and documentation for transportation.
- Perform cross-dock activities, including receiving, sorting, staging, and transferring products between inbound and outbound shipments.
- Use order-picking equipment and perform order-picking duties as required.




- Check shipments for accuracy and ensure the correct products are loaded for each route.
- Maintain an organized and safe warehouse and loading area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure shipments are completed accurately and on schedule.

Requirements

- Previous experience operating a counterbalance propane forklift.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of US routes and transportation schedules.
- Experience loading trailers based on specific routes and delivery schedules.
- Previous LTL shipping experience.
- Experience preparing shipping documents, including Bills of Lading.
- Previous cross-dock experience.
- Order picker experience is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Solid attention to detail and ability to prioritize shipments according to schedules.
- Valuable communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
